This test was adapted from: Youth Outcome Questionnaire (Y-OQ 64)
The Youth Outcome Questionnaire (Y-OQ) was developed as a metric to measure treatment outcomes for adolescents. It is a global measure of adolescent functioning, looking at six different areas and generating an overall score. The Y-OQ has been normed and validated, and higher scores indicate higher levels of distress while lower scores indicate healthier adolescent functioning. Depending on their scores, teens may need a residential treatment center (RTC), outpatient treatment, or inpatient treatment.
